Ive done about 250,000 Miles with the wheel in LFS alone.
Maybe another 150k miles in race series and other sims.
I dont use high FF settings.

The wheel in question a G25
Indeed the point you make I believe is what makes a racer above average and become a good driver, race-craft is one part of the key to making a good driver better, I will ignore the age thing (40 soon!) Experience counts for a lot where racing skill is concerned (car track situation) Experience makes a good driver a great driver
What keeps me interested and playing LFS is the depth of the game-play, which obviously I believe is down to excellent track/car design and physics. This also coupled with a no BS menu system makes LFS quick easy to play hard to master
But concerning LFS development I think there has been two choices that I think have been a bit "NOoooooooooooooo"
Demo = shoulda kept that damn XRT there XFG XRT FBM
Credits= why why why. Some people said it was useless. I thought it was underused, now with cruise etc insim development etc. I could of used my massive Vcridt to bet on races while spec or bet on myself. on cruise servers use this to buy things / or use the credit system for entry to servers or league events. So many possibilities gone there.
Pretty ashamed to be a member of this forum at times, but still proud to be part of LFS.
So the OP has been a little immature perhaps, not as much as some of the other posts / replies.
I am a willing to help micromental if you have any more problems feel free to PM me.
I was so gutted when I could hardly make any of the races in the TBO champ (that would of been MINE!!!) I just had to avoid participating, due to work commitments.
But its hard for everyone to maintain a good populated event. Not just the organisers, the racers also, to make time for LFS can be a very hard thing to do, even if the flesh is willing, life dictates otherwise.
Anyway even there 5p rule applies, but damn it! Most of time i just have 2-3p's worth, in random order, of course.
Quite a Talent there, just needs to diversify the sound more, but its refreshing.
But now for a step back in time to where, sounds from the future were made.
Golden classic that makes my skin breathe , my soul soar and my mind free.
Jump straight in I would say, Plenty of drifting servers around if that's your thing. there's enough variety to keep you going, what-ever your into really.
What else can be said?
I can understand and I do sometimes feel like I need to know more about what is happening, maybe this is because my time is important to myself?
Or do I need to justify the time?
Do the team behind LFS need to justify theirs?
Anyway point I am making is that its bloody obvious devs still love LFS, and hopefully the community (although behaviour is like that of spoilt children at times on these forums).
LFS is quite a gem, I have not come across many like it in my time (as a 37 year old Gaming/Tech Enthusiast)
I've been playing since early demo days and like Mr Nolan and no doubt many others, I had a period as a long using demo racer who made the plunge after a year nearly on demo, on the mouse.
I have never looked back too much, and never feel that I have to look forward so far to know that this driving experience will continue to reward me, regardless of perceived progress.
Was about to mention as well. Let me know when you get your hands on trinity
Regarding the patch, Ive found a little bug I can reporduce, but Its rare and can be avoided.
Perhaps more a driver issue?
Not tested with Multi monitor on Nvidia or other GPU, but with ATI Cat 11.5 / 6800 1Gb
Start LFS Fullscreen > then alt tab switched to 2 displays (one 1650x1080 16:10 other 1600x1200 CRT 4:3)
Turned on eyefinity and calibrated CRT to match scale on LCD (16:10) swith back to LFS (black screen flickering cursor it seems)
Shift f4 is fine in window > options> screen change from FS 3200x900 to next one down (sill eyefiinity resolution) works fine.
Obviously starting LFS after calibrating screens is no problem.
